Lessons from the Sydney terrorist attack...

Lessons from the Sydney terrorist attack:

1. The perpetrator will normally be one of the usual suspects.

The Sydney Attacker's bio has "potential terrorist" written all over it.  He was not really Mr. Nowhere Man from Nowhere Land.

2. People will still find a way to acquire guns in a gun control state.

Australia has very strict gun control laws.  How did that bloke got hold of a shotgun?

3. Only an armed population can hope to stop a "Lone Wolf" attacker.

The situation could have been nipped in the bud by a coffee drinker who was carrying.  A thought that other gun control states should seriously ponder.

4.  Always be alert even in familiar places.

In this era of global terrorism, these loonies can strike anywhere.  Anytime.

Even your usual street corner coffee hole is no longer safe.

So never take anything for granted.  Always watch your six.
